The first event season of 2023 was full of challenges. During the first half of the year, we held more than 10 events and decided to create a campaign to collect and donate all the PET bottles generated at those events.
We chose an immigrant shelter in the city of Querétaro, which receives entire families and immigrants traveling alone across our country’s southern border for various reasons.
Some of them are trying to cross the entire country to reach the border with the United States, while others are seeking political asylum or temporary or permanent residency in our country due to problems or specific situations in their countries of origin.
We took all the PET we collected at the events of this first 2023 season to support the immigrants at this shelter, where through its sale they can generate resources for their sustenance during their stay in Mexico or generate resources to continue their journey to the north of the country.
